● Anatomische indeling
○ Centrale: alles dat binnen de schedel en de wervelkolom
ligt
○ Perifere: alles in het lichaam
■ sensorisch: gevoel
■ motorisch: uitvoering
■ Perifere zenuwen zijn opgebouwd uit axonen van
sensibele en motorische zenuwcellen, cellen van
Schwann en bindweefselcellen.
■ Perifere zenuwen vormen de verbinding tussen het centraal
zenuwstelsel en de perifeer liggende zintuigen, spieren en klieren
● Functionele indeling
○ autonoom: zelfstandig, je hebt er geen invloed op (bv ademhaling)
■ orthosympatisch: fight & flight → hartslag gaat omhoog, spieren
spannen aan, hoge ademhaling, bloed naar spieren
■ parasympatisch: rest & digest → hartslag is laag, lage ademhaling,
bloed gaat naar je organen
○ animaal: je kan het wel controleren, je bent er bewust mee bezig (bv.
aanspannen van spier)
Hersenen
● 1250-1450 g
● Mannen groter dan vrouwen, grote van hersenen is
niet van invloed op intelligentie
● 2 structuren
○ Witte materie → binnenkant
■ alle uitlopers met myeline erom zitten
in de binnenkant
○ Grijze materie → schors (= cortex)
■ alle cellichamen zitten in de schors
, Verschillende indelingen van de hersenen
2 hemisferen (links en rechts)
● Links: taal, wiskunde
● Rechts: creativiteit, emotie, muziek
● Gescheiden door groeve: centrale fissuur
● Hersenbalk / corpus callosum : verbind de twee
hemisferen
● Sulci (groeven) & gyri (windingen)
○ Sulcus centralis: groeve in het midden van de
hersenen
○ Laterale sulcus: groeve aan de zijkant
Grote hersenen, kleine hersenen, hersenstam en hersenvliezen
● Grote hersenen / Cerebrum
○ Links krijgt informatie van rechts en andersom
■ Bv. Rechter arm wordt gereguleerd door je
linker hersenhelft.
○ 3 functies hersenschors
■ Sensorische centra / cortex: impulsen verwerken
van zintuigen (bewustwording van waarneming)
■ Motorische centra/ cortex: ontstaan impulsen voor
bewuste bewegingen van skeletspieren
● Ligt voor de sensorische cortex
■ Geheugen
○ Indelen in een aantal kwabben
● Kleine hersenen / Cerebellum
○ Linker hersenhelft stuurt linkerkant aan
○ Functie: coördinatie van alle bewegingen
■ o.a. evenwicht, sporten, dansen
○ Stuk kleiner dan de grote hersenen, maar wel evenveel
verbindingen
● Hersenstam: ligt tegen de kleine hersenen aan
○ Bestaat uit
■ Verlengde merg / medulla oblongata
■ Pons / burg
■ Middenhersenen
○ Functie:
■ Bevat centra voor autonome zenuwstelsel, bv
ademhaling
■ Aantal reflexen verloopt via hersenstam
■ Impulsen van de linker lichaamshelft worden geleid naar de
rechterhersenhelft
