Evenwicht = homeostase: het vermogen van het lichaam om de gezondheid te bewaken door
constant het inwendige of interne milieu te herstellen en in evenwicht te houden ook wanneer de
omstandigheden veranderen. Hiervoor maakt het lichaam gebruik van vele regelmechanismen
waarbij ook de organen betrokken zijn.
Homeostatisch regelsysteem: negatief feedback systeem: stabiliseren van
een bepaalde parameter onder verschillende omstandigheden. Aquarium:
de watertemperatuur van het water moet in evenwicht gehouden worden
Integrating center: hersenen
Target: verwarming
Positief feedback systeem: response versterkt de stimulus in plaats van
verzwakken of uitzetten (bevalling: oxytocine → versterkt weeën en dat
leidt tot bevalling, de stimulus wordt versterkt)
Bij homeostase betrokken communicatie systemen
• Circulatie (bloedsomloop): moleculen (hormonen) worden via bloed
vervoerd en bereiken receptoren en stimuleren die waardoor een
reactie ontstaat → negatieve feedback (chemische signalen)
• Zenuwstelsel: werkt met elektriciteit die de membraanpotentiaal
verandert (elektrische signalen)
Bij homestase betrokken organen in dit blok: hart, nier, long → je moet de interactie tussen de
organen snappen! Dus niet naar een orgaan als individu kijken!
