Before the lesson the teacher writes down the topic on the board “Planning my holiday” and divides a whiteboard in two parts. At start of the lesson (warmer), we will
make predictions about upcoming holiday using the model sentences provided by the teacher and written on the left side of the board. During the warmer students
make their sentences, the teacher writes some of them on the board.
Predictions: Concept - I will put the timeline on the board in front of the examples given by
students after having written the form.
At start of the lesson:
PLANNING MY HOLIDAY
- I’ll travel to Italy by car this summer.
- I will have a lot of fun with my friends.
During the warmer the teacher writes down some of the examples:
- I will go to the beach every day.
- I’ll have a good time with my family.
- I’ll watch my favorite series and play computer games.
- I’ll eat a lot of ice-cream and sea food.
- I’ll do a lot of activities on the campsite.
