Introduction
We as students of Han university of applied sciences, received the task to analyse the differences
between the primary process of a Dutch listed company in the Netherlands and UK. We chose
Heineken, because of its size and it also exports to the UK. Because Heineken is an multibillion dollar
company there probably will be a lot of information about the company.
Heineken the Netherlands is established in 1592 by Weijntgen Elbers (Nederlandsebiercultuur, 2019).
Of all 140 countries where the company is active, The Netherlands had the first establishment. About
30% of the production in the Netherlands is made for the country itself the rest is made for export.
About one third is produced for the United states and the rest is for export to all the 140 other
countries around the whole world. (Heineken, sd).
