De structuur van bloedvaten:

 Arterie dikke spierlaag om bloedvat
 Capillair=haarvatenloopt door endotheel, zorgt voor snelle diffusie
 Vene cavavormt zich naar beschikbare ruimte, hebben bloedvaatkleppen tegen terugstroming

Capillair endotheel

 Bloedtoevoer geregeld door sfincters(kringspier+afsluitfunctie)
