Abstract: This report be about the Tink´s story and her point of view, as teenager, about life,
love, friendship, family, school and everyday things. Tink decide to write her life´s story using a
format of an encyclopedia, named “The encyclopedia of me”. For teenager like Tink, the
adolescence can be a beautiful part of life, with different feelings that wil make them grow and
emerger as responsable adults. For us, that we are not young people, look the life from the
perspective of the teenager, like Tink, will help us to understand the challenges our students.

Summary of the unit.

Now, Isadora is 13 years old and she has decided to write about her life.
Writing help her to have fun and find the challengues, chances and
interests that she has in this moment: without being a child or woman,
only being teenager. In the next fifty seven entries, Tink will tell us about
her, an exotic mystery of mixed heritage, and her world.

amily is one of the first changes that teenagers have. When they
are kids, the most important part of their life are the family. They
are perfect and a safe place for them. But, It changes when they
come to the adolescence. Now, friends are the most important thing for
them, and the school can be a safe place or a terrible place. Tink talk
about her imperfect and common family. Her dad, Baxter Aaron, is
British and always wanted to be an actor on TV. Now is father of three

teenagers. Her mother is a former ballerina ballet teacher. Isadora thinks
sometimes her mom can be a lot of fun.

Then, she talks about her two brothers: Lex and Seb. Lex is her
oldest brother, for other people, a good-looking boy. He is good at
sports, and he is on most sports teams and has an entire shrine of
trophies. In the other hand is Sebastian. He is not good at sports, and he
is a autistic. The autism is not a disease, and is not contagious. Tink
believes that Seb is really hard to explain to people. For her, he is just
her brother. In summary, when you are reading between the lines, you
undestand that she loves them.

riendship concept: Freddie Blue Anderson.For Isadora, she is her
BFF. Isadora tell about Freddie´s appearance: smarter, prettier
and funnier that she, but is her favorite person on the entire
planet. With she, Isadora tells about their adventures (308 adventures
according to her) and their “hilair” times (Postscript: hilair is the peculiar
word for “Hilarious”). Then, with adventures they met a boy, Blue-
Haired, who just moved in next door and who Isadora look from her dark
room. Obviously, although Isadora and her BFF are teenagers, and boys
are a topic of conversation, their friendship is the most important for
her.

ove is part of this encyclopedia. Isadora has two curious entries
referring to boys: “Boys we wouldn´t touch with a ten-food pole
list” and the “crush list”. The first one has all the boys that
Isadora and Freddie think are not actively on their Crush Lists, in other
words, all the boys in their class. And the second one is a list of boys
who they have crushes on. Freddie´s List has seven boys, and recently
