Being a sales manager for a retail store, it is substantial that I inspire and lead my sales

team as it is my role and responsibility. Leading by example would be my ideal message to them.

I would be leading my team from the front line by being on the floor with them instead of being

an office leader, as the norm of most managers. Being on the ground with them would clearly

show that I am the same as them, and my title does not signify anything. Additionally, I have to

communicate to them clearly what we intend to do even if we are not faced to face to be precise

about what we want to do. Leading by example correlates with improving their performance to

influence the team's sales through their skill set and motivation. This message would result in

trust-building, explicit acknowledgment of the store goals, increased resilience (Sharma et al.,

2020), and effective communication where everyone is on the same page.

The intended audience for my message is my sales team since we work closely together

and at the same time spend more time together while working. Sales specialists, sales

representatives, and customer service representatives are the intended audiences. As the

workplace expectations pertain to everyone being on the same page, my sales team would

perfectly fit my tailored message, thus achieving our overall goal at the retail store.

For my message to be well understood and comprehended, I will choose a topography

that will match my presentation mood of the message to my audience. I will opt for the Sans serif

font to communicate my message as it is a substantial standard font that is easy to preserve

compatibility and great-looking (Rizzi, 2017). The font will bring more personality to my
