INTRODUCCIÓN
Diseño organizativo es el proceso mediante el cual se define la estructura funcional de una
organización. Fruto del diseño organizativo se deriva la estructura formal.
El diseño organizativo reporta la estructura formal, sin embargo, ya sabemos que la estructura
organizativa está formada de dos estructuras: la formal y la informal. Fruto de la unión entre ambas
estructuras nos da como resultado la estructura real de la empresa, es decir, cómo funciona la
empresa.
Estructura formal: Es la representación gráfica de la estructura de una empresa planteada por la
dirección general para alcanzar unos objetivos estratégicos.
Estructura informal: Es la estructura de una empresa que se crea por las dinámicas sociales.
