1. MQTT
- MQTT is een programma waar je kan publiceren-abonneren op netwerkprotocollen dat
berichten tussen apparaten transporteert. Het protocol werkt meestal via TCP/IP-netwerken.
Wij maken gebruik van : http://www.hivemq.com/demos/websocket-client/
De MQTT-broker is software die op een computer wordt uitgevoerd (meestal in de cloud) en
die door een derde partij zelf kan worden gebouwd of wordt gehost. Het is beschikbaar in
open source, dus free to use.
- De maker kan je vergelijken met een postkantoor, MQTT maakt geen gebruik van een adres
voor de ontvanger maar maakt gebruik van de onderwerpregel genaamd "Topic", en
iedereen die een kopie van dat bericht wil, zal zich op dat onderwerp moeten abonneren.
Meerdere clients kunnen het bericht van een enkele broker ontvangen.
- Elke client kan zowel gegevens produceren als ontvangen door zowel te publiceren als te
abonneren. Dit helpt bij zowel het delen van gegevens als het beheren en besturen van
apparaten. Hieronder een simpele doodle van het idee :
2. Verbinding met Broker
- Op de website die ik in vorige rubriek vermeld heb moet je een verbinding opstellen. Wij
gebruiken in school meestal gewoon: “broker.mqttdashboard.com”. Port wordt 8000
ingevuld en client ID wordt automatisch gegenereerd.
- De broker dient als een communicatiewisselaar van informatie.
