Strafvordering:
o Gericht op straffen/sanctioneren van misdrijf
o Voorwerp = straf of maatregel
o Door OM (enkele uitz.) in naam van maatschappij
Burgerlijke vordering:
o Misdrijf veroorzaakt vaak schade (niet altijd!)
o Gericht op herstel van schade
