Oefeningen les 6: 2-way ANOVA’s & Repeated
Measures ANOVA’s
1. Een onderzoeker wil nagaan of 3 meetmethoden ongeveer dezelfde resultaten
geven voor het meten van kracht (uitgedrukt in kg). 20 proefpersonen leggen
3 verschillende krachttesten af.
a. Is er een verschil in gemiddelde kracht afhankelijk van de methode die
gebruikt is?
b. Is het verschil tussen de 3 methoden afhankelijk van het geslacht van
de proefpersonen?
A)We voeren een RM Anova uit tussen de within subjects (m1, m2 en m3). Het zijn 3
herhaalde metingen in 1 groep. Duidt bij options enkel descriptives aan, Lev is niet nodig
omdat je telkens met dezelfde groep zit.
Gebruik post hoc test bonferoni test om te weten als er een verschil zou zijn, waar het
verschil zit. DIT VIND JE BIJ EM MEANS
Lees bij de table ‘multivariate tests’ de f en p waarde af bij WILKS LAMBDA.
F=6.11 en P=0.009. Dit is significant, er is dus wel degelijk een verschil tussen de methodes.
, Verwerp de 0 hypothese. Waar zit het verschil?
Kijk naar ‘pairwise comparisons’:
Noteer alle p waardes en kijk welke significant
zijn. Kijk dan naar de gemiddeldes bij descriptives. We zien dat methode 2 significant hoger
scoort dan 1 en 3. Tussen 1 en 3 is er geen significant verschil.
B) Voeg bij het design een between factor toe (geslacht). We doen opnieuw een RM anova
(mixed design). Maak ook een plot om te kijken of er interactie effecten zijn.
Plot: methode op x as en geslacht als aparte lijnen. De lijnen kruisen niet, geen significant
interactie effect. Dit zie je ook hier:

is niet afhankelijk van het geslacht.
Kijk terug naar bovenstaande tabel bij Methode: P=0.008. Er is een verschil tussen de
methodes. Kijk dan naar deze tabel:
Ga nu kijken naar de descriptives, maar kijk naar TOTAL want er is geen effect van geslacht.
We zien dan dat methode2 beter scoort dan 1 en 3.
