, Introduction
Multiple commands are executed in this file. The purpose of this is to conduct good Keyword
research. In addition to the assignments for keyword research, this file also consists of two
blogs. The category belonging to this subject is Smart home with the subcategory Smart
bathrooms.
Assignment 1:
The keyword research is started by making a list of keywords. This list was created through a
brainstorming session about smart bathrooms. Many of the keywords are parts of a bathroom.
Below is a list of 15 keywords.
The above list consists of many longtail words. This has been chosen to be as specific as
possible. There are many parts within a bathroom. This is reflected in the list. By using multiple
words as a search term, it also becomes specific and immediately gives a good description of
what someone is looking for. By using longtail words, we also try to get more conversion on
your page. Which is good because it's better to have specific searchers than people who come
to one word that’s quite general. If it turns out that they are looking for something else, they
will leave your website. To prevent this, I chose longtail words.
I also looked at the target group of the searchers. The target group will be people who want
to make their bathroom smarter and who investigate the possibilities for this. By choosing the
different options as keywords, the expectation is that more people will come to the page. There
are several keywords that describe different parts of a bathroom, such as the tap, a shower, a
bath or a toilet.
Since more and more people are making their homes smarter with the latest gadgets, there is
also quite a lot of competition. More and more people are talking about smart systems and
gadgets because there’s also a lot of consumer interest in which they want to respond.
However, the advantage is that longtail words have been chosen so that the searchers are
also more specific and the conversion is higher than with general words. It’s therefore expected
that competitors will make more use of generic words.
