The purpose of my portfolio is to demonstrate to IT services and potential employers
my skills. Besides, I have to demonstrate my communication skills, listening skills,
problem-solving skills, organisational skills and creative skills, as well as my CV and
my GCSE scores, to impress the IT services. Coding and designing web pages are
my interests. I have to be an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate in every way
possible to get employed. My hobbies and interests will also make the reader
interested in my work, so I can keep my work up to date. This portfolio will highlight
the work I did on the BTEC course during my tenures, such as papers, timeline,
asset lists, structure, storyboard, website and report. This will show the employers
that I have strong skills and that I am acceptable for the work in IT.
I designed web pages as well as the web page itself in this unit and my audience is
the users of my website, especially the Uxbridge IT service. The aim of the website
is also presented here without showing which one.
My home page includes all the units and the GCSE grade that I got from my exam
and my CV that illustrate my ability and that I have done in my lifetime in my first
page of the unit to design the home page that I have done for this unit. My
homepage has unit 3 portfolio-title with the Uxbridge logo.
Justification of my portfolio against my design
The first factor in planning my portfolio and building it. The object and the audience
of the portfolio were to compose. This was important because I was able to link this
to my designs to decide what I wanted to put in my Portfolio. Then I made a timeline
to help me design what unit I was doing and how long.
This website is created for the IT service staff to see my website and see if I’m
qualified for the job or I need more experience. These folders hold all the information
for the brand new website which is going to be made and they have all the video and
pictures which need to be used on the website. This website will explain all the units
so the user can understand what the unit is about and it will be easy for the user to
do the unit themself after seeing my website information with all the example pictures
and the video which explain all the unit purpose and what it is about and with some
help. My website will contain chat’s box for the user to communicate with me
because I’m the current owner of the new website. The website contains all the
phone numbers, email, address and social media for the user to find more
information about my new website. The user can write any comment or any kind of
issue on the contact us which will be replied in 24 hr so the user can be sure that the
owner has replied to the user and they can have trust that the owner cares about the
user who visits the website. This website is designed for any kind of device so the
user doesn’t have to worry about what device the website supports.
How the asset helps make the webpage work.
, I've used a large range of various services, such as text, pictures, animations,
pictures, models, links to hypertext images With keys. My asset helps the website to
put the right information or picture and video in the right location. This is made easy
thanks to the assets which make several pictures demonstrate it easier to find the
information that you are looking for in the website link. The asset list helps keep the
website design accurate. The webpages are put in the right position for the user to
find without any problem. The asset list helps to create the website more quickly. I
have the text and all the tools on the Wix to create my brand new website for the
user and its service. The Wix tools and text has improved my website into a better
website for the user to look at.
The Digital portfolio
This is the “Home” page of the new website which was created for unit 3 portfolio
with the logo which was put online and there are options about the different units and
myself also the information,n about the size and the features are described in the
google slide. There is a title which shows the company name and this is shown by
using black colour. In the header, there will be a button to take you to the next page
as a hyperlink. The text that has been used is black. The background has been
inputted from the Wix background.
In all the web pages there have been uses of a profile and notification bell to show
that there is a user who is logged in to see my webpage. The notification bell shows
the new bulletin on the webpage or any information that is updated or if the user has
received any message from the owner of the website.
