Read this passage adapted from the short story Freizeitstress by Hermann Bauer.
Timo muss leider noch E-Mails schicken. Deshalb kommt er später aus dem Büro
als sonst. Er geht nach Hause. Er isst zu Abend und telefoniert mit seiner Freundin
Lena. Sie hat den Wetterbericht gehört und ist ganz glücklich: „Morgen können wir
surfen gehen. Es soll einen tollen Westwind geben.“
Als Timo am nächsten Morgen am See ankommt, ist Lena schon da. Sie sagt
nervös: „Wenn der Wind nicht bald kommt, müssen wir etwas Anderes machen. Soll
ich versuchen, einen Tennisplatz zu bekommen?“
Sie warten eine Stunde, und beschließen schließlich, den Tennisclub anzurufen.
Sie haben Glück und bekommen noch einen Platz.
