A study of the human mind and behaviours

Human mind and behaviour consists of:
- Emotion- Feelings (internal feelings, facial expressions, how we express our emotions)
- Cognition- Mental Processes (thinking, problem solving, decision making, using
memory, using language)
- Behaviours- How someone acts (facial expressions, moving parts)
- Human biology sensation
- Sensation perception

In class example: operational
Why do people like the food they like?
Emotional - study likes and dislikes, satisfaction from certain foods etc
Cognition - food preference based on childhood experiences
Sensation and perception - psychological triggers eg, colour, smell or texture of the food

Scientific methods= Theory--Hypothesis--Empirical data--Operational definition
