4 vormen: klinische pedagogiek, sociale pedagogiek, wijsgierig-historische pedagogiek en
transculturele pedagogiek.

Klinische pedagogiek:
Deze vorm onderzoekt de invloed van sociale en culturele factoren in opvoedingsprocessen in zijn
algemeenheid

Sociale pedagogiek:
Deze wetenschap onderzoekt de sociale omstandigheden van de pedagogiek in zijn algemeenheid.

Wijsgierig-historische pedagogiek:
Deze onderzoekt de filosofisch-historische wetenschap binnen de pedagogiek

Transculturele pedagogiek:
Deze onderzoekt de opvoeding van kinderen die opgroeien in een andere cultuur dan het land van
herkomst.

Opvoeding in het algemeen houdt in, dat er sprake is van vorming, cultivering en verweving van
cultuur. Ontwikkeling is het veranderen door ervaring, het gaat het leven lang door.

Opvoeding stopt wel op een gegeven moment, de zelf-opvoeding en ontwikkeling stoppen nooit!

evolutie
De mens leert door opvoeding: praten, lopen, sociale vaardigheiden en moraliteit. Tegelijkertijd
ontwikkeld het brein de hersenschors. Aanleg (nature) en omgevingsfactoren (nuture) beïnvloeden
elkaar in dit proces.

Doordat de aanleg en omgevingsfactoren onderling verschillen, groeit iemand op als een uniek
persoon.
