1. ARTICULACIÓN DEL HOMBRO.
El hombro es la articulación del cuerpo con más movilidad y, por lo tanto, con la mayor predisposición a
sufrir una luxación.
Esta amplitud de movimiento se distribuye en tres articulaciones diartrodiales: glenohumeral,
acromioclavicular y esternoclavicular, y dos articulaciones fisiológicas: subdeltoidea y escapulotorácica.
2. ARTICULACIÓN ESTERNOCLAVICULAR.
Es una diartrosis en silla de montar o de tipo recíproco, con disco articular que se amolda a las
superficies articulares.
De movilidad reducida.
ARTICULACIÓN ACROMIOCLAVICULAR: Es la única articulación entre la clavícula y la escápula. Dentro
de las diartrosis es una artrodia.
Ligamentos Los ligamentos de la articulación acromioclavicular son el ligamento trapezoide
y el ligamento conoide. La estabilidad anteroposterior de la articulación acromioclavicular
está controlada por los ligamentos acromioclaviculares, mientras que la estabilidad vertical
la controlan los ligamentos coracoclaviculares (conoide y trapezoide).
