1. Start in het sagittale vlak in de mediaanlijn.
2. Zoek de caudale leverrand op en beweeg naar dextra.
3. Schuif door totdat je de galblaas ziet.
4. Je treft de galblaas nu longitudinaal. (1).
5. Pas vervolgend de diepte aan en zoek de langste lengte as.
6. Scan de galblaas van wand tot wand door.
7. Vervolgens 90° tegen de klok in draaien om de galblaas transversaal te treffen.
8. Begin bij de craniale grens van de galblaas, de vena porta.
9. Scan de hele galblaas transversaal door. (2).

Proximale ductus choledochus (Mickey-Sign).
1. Begin bij een longitudinaal afgebeelde vena porta. (1).
2. Draai vervolgens tegen de vena porta in zodat je deze transversaal treft. (2).
3. Ductus choledochus Rechts in de patiënt. Arteria hepatica propria Links. (DR.Al.)
Proximale ductus choledochus longitudinaal.
1. Begin bij een longitudinaal afgebeelde vena porta.
2. Als de transducer naar mediaal wordt geschoven zie je Arteria Hepatica Propria. (1).
3. Verplaats transducer naar lateraal om de ductus choledochus in beeld te krijgen (2).
Distale ductus choledochus (in pancreaskop).
1. Begin in sagittale vlak zodat je de Vena Mesenterica Superior longitudinaal treft. (1).
2. Schuif met de transducer naar lateraal tot je de pancreakop ziet.
3. Hier ze je de longitudinale, distale ductus choledochus.
