Innervatie Schouder7 cervicale wervels → 8 paar cervicale spinale zenuwen → 8 cervicale ruggenmergsegmenten.
De achtste spinale zenuw (C8) komt “uit” het ruggenmerg onder de zevende cervicale wervel.
In de prometheus zijn de wervels aangegeven met romeinse cijfers: C VII en de zenuwen (segmenten) met cijfers: C8
Ezelsbrug ligging van zenuwen aan het einde van de plexus brachialis: MC ARMU
De plexus brachialis wordt gevormd vanuit de ruggenmergsegmenten C5 t/m C8 en T1
Plexus = vervlechting zenuwen, brachialis = arm
1. N. medianus → ventrale zijde onderarm (flexoren van
de pols)
2. N. radialis → dorsale zijde bovenarm en dorsaal in de
onderarm (extensoren van de pols)
3. N. axillaris → richting oksel
4. N. ulnaris → aantal spieren ulnaire zijde onderarm en
de korte handspieren (bewegingen ulnair abductie en
bewegen van de vingers)
5. N. musculocutaneus → ventrale zijde bovenarm (niet
naar onderarm)
