Time is victorious & aging inevitable, but the stereotypes of elderly adults being in poor
health is overblown, in fact older adults do not have ailments that seriously impair their
daily function (Boyd, 2015, p.441). The cause of many older adults chronic disease, are
due to years of negligence. Without proper maintenance & health prevention in their
younger years minor conditions become significant conditions, the most common chronic
health conditions are hypertension & arthritis. My gr&mother suffers from both of these
chronic ailments, her low physical activity & lack of proper dietary nutrition in her youth
contributed to these ailments. Studies have shown physical exercise, is linked to
