Voorwoord
Om te beginnen, wat leuk dat je mee wil gaan doen met de selectie voor het ZIGMA programma in
Amsterdam. Ik hoop dat ik je met dit document op weg kan helpen met de vele flashcards en mijn
ervaring met de selectie. Dit document bevat rond de 900 flashcards van de stof die je moet kennen voor
de kennistoets van de 1e ronde van de selectie ZIGMA. Deze 1e ronde bestaat uit een toets met rond de
130 multiple choice vragen over de stof van het 1e en 2e jaar van de bachelor geneeskunde aan de VU. Van
alle vakken uit het 1e en 2e jaar van de bachelor geneeskunde heb ik een reeks flashcards gemaakt die je
kan leren. Het is aangetoond dat flashcards een ontzettend goede manier is van leren, waardoor de stof
veel beter blijft hangen dan alleen een samenvatting door te lezen. Zelf heb ik door deze flashcards één
van de hoogste scores op de kennistoets gehaald en ben ik uiteindelijk geselecteerd voor de ZIGMA
opleiding. Daarnaast bevat het document ook tips en mijn ervaring met de verschillende rondes van de
ZIGMA selectie. Naast dat je deze flashcards online op een website kan oefenen, kan je ook de app
downloaden, waardoor je ten alle tijden (bijvoorbeeld als je in de trein zit of even niet bij je laptop kan)
nog even de flashcards oefenen op je mobiel/Ipad.

Zoals je op het voorbeeldplaatje hierboven ziet, is dit een set van 186 flashcards. Je hebt 4 verschillende
modes waarin je het kan oefenen; Flashcards, Memorize, Test en Games. Je kan zelf kijken wat jij een fijne
manier vindt. Ik heb vooral ‘Memorize’ gebruikt, aangezien je dan alle flashcards net zo lang bij langs gaat
totdat je ze allemaal kent.




Hier zie je een voorbeeld van het oefenen van flashcards in memorize modus. Je ziet in het balkje
bovenaan dat het systeem bijhoudt hoeveel je goed en fout doet. Ook kan je aangeven of je ze door
elkaar wil of in chronologische volgorde. Daarnaast zal het systeem op het einde alle fouten weer
opnieuw terug laten komen, net zo lang totdat je alle flashcards goed hebt.
