TERMINOLOGIE: GROEI-MATURATIE -ONTWIKKELING
Groei
= is een toename van de grootte van het lichaam als geheel of de grootte bereikt door specifieke delen van het
lichaam.
Deze verandering in grootte komt in stand door 3 cellulaire processen:
o celvermenigvuldiging (mitosis),
o celvolume toename ( hypertrofie)
o toename interstitieel weefsel/vocht volume
- Is weefselafhankelijk ( groei spierweefsel , zenuwcellen is niet hetzelfde als groei huidcellen)
- Goed kwantitatief meetbaar,afgeleide parameters
o Groeisnelheid
o piek groeisnelheid
o versnelling
Maturatie
= status van volwassenheid, de leeftijd waarop je als volwassen aanzien w. -> indeling in groepen (bv; pre-menarche
en menarche mensen)

een mature status)

o 1 bevruchte eicel differentieert -> cellenverzameling in 3 kiembladen (ecto, endo en meso -derm),
