Of the steps mentioned in the video, I’d most likely incorporate smelling the soap after squeezing
some oni my palm and watching the color change since most hospital soaps have a pink or green hue. My
sense of smell is heightened so at times when I’m in stores like T.j Maxx and Bath and Bodyworks, walking
through the hand soap aisle, I like to stop and smell them just in case I’d like one for my house. I am also very
big on color so I am very familiar with watching the soap transform in my hand from milky iridescent baby
pink to a white bubbly color with bubbles that resemble the rainbow when the light hits them. On my days off
of work, I enjoy making my own skincare and cooking so when doing this I like to take a mindful break to
reflect on the day to come and what I plan to accomplish and reflect on what I did and how I could make it
better at night time. Simple things like washing my face at night or getting ready for bed gives me small
intervals of time to really be mindful of my surroundings and be present in the moment.
