Este es un breve resumen para saber identificar la distribución apropiada en cada caso. No me
hago responsable que los errores que pueda contener.
Bernoulli: sólo toma dos valores 0 ó 1. Ejemplo:
o Experimentos.
o Lotería (perder/ganar).
Binomial: Cuando contamos el número de veces que ocurre un suceso en un
experimento repetitivo. Ejemplo:
o Producir X tornillos y que Y sean defectuosos.
Geométrica: cuando contamos el número de intentos necesarios para que ocurra un
suceso. Ejemplo:
o Cuantas veces tenemos que lanzar una moneda para que salga cara.
o Cuantos tornillos hay que fabricar hasta obtener uno defectuoso.
Poisson: Cuando contamos los sucesos que ocurren en un periodo de tiempo. Ejemplo:
o Cuantos coches pasan por un peaje en una hora.
o Cuantos clientes tiene una peluquería en un día.
