- We kunnen niet zeggen hoe een ander zich moet gedragen, want dat verschilt per individu.
- Anderen moeten zich zo gedragen, dat mijn belangen gediend worden.
- Anderen moeten hun eigen belang nastreven, net zoals ik dat doe.

gedachtegang 1 en 2 zijn op het individu gericht en er wordt er geen rekening gehouden met het
moraal. Gedachtegang 3 kijkt wel naar het moraal.
