Je kunt een beweging vastleggen met een plaats-tijddiagram, maar ook met een snelheid-
tijddiagram. Als zo’n tabel gelijkmatig toeneemt (rechte lijn),dan geldt de volgende formule:
Vgem=Vbegin+Veind/2
De oppervlakte onder de grafiek in een (v,t)-diagram is gelijk aan de afgelegde afstand.
Versnelde beweging= snelheid wordt steeds groter
X,t: steeds steiler omhoog
V,t: diagonale lijn omhoog
Eenparige beweging= in elke seconde wordt de zelfde afstand afgelegd.
X,t: diagonale lijn omhoog
V,t: horizontale lijn
Vertraagde beweging= snelheid wordt steeds kleiner
X,t: Minder steil omhoog
V,t:diagonale lijn naar beneden
Eenparig versneld: als de versnelling gelijkmatig toeneemt.
