Excretie = afscheiden van afvalstoffen
-> ureum (AZ)
-> urinezuur (purinen)
-> creatine (spieren)
Eliminatie = lozing van deze afvalstoffen naar buiten
Secretie = afscheiden van nuttige stoffen
Excretie organen:
Longen: CO2 en warmte
Huid: vocht en warmte
Lever: detoxificatie
Nieren: samenstelling lichaamsvloeistoffen reguleren
Homeostase regeling: volume en concentratie van opgeloste stoffen in plasma.
• Regulering bloedvolume en bloeddruk
- Aanpassen vochtverlies via urine

• Omringd door: vezelig nierkapsel & zacht vetkussen mobilisatie ondanks

Nierpoort = ingang voor arteria renalis en nierzenuw en uitgang voor vena
renalis en ureter
Nierschors = rand van nier (begin nierproductie)
Niermerg = binnenste van de nier
Nefroptosis = aanhechting nier los zakt in lichaam
-> = wandelende nier
-> = ptotic kindey
-> = dropped kidney
-> gevaarlijk omdat urether/urethra in bochten komen te liggen

• Nefronen: productie urine (1 miljoen per nier)
• Nierbekken: urine verzamelen uit calices
