Wat is farmacologie?
= studie van de eigenschappen van medicijnen en hun effecten op levende organismen
“Pharmacon” = grieks voor drug/ medicijn
Klinische farmacologie (farmacotherapeutica) → studie van effecten van medicijn op ziekte

Oorsprong van medicatie

Absorptie
= vermogen van weefsels om van buitenaf komende stoffen in zich op te nemen
