Dit verhaal begint op een parkeerplaats bij het dok. Op de parkeerplaats ontmoetende drie vrienden (Becky, Amber en Natalie) elkaar omdat ze op vakantie gaan naar
Rottnest Island. Het is hun eerste vakantie zonder hun ouders en ze hebben er veel
zin in. Op de boottocht komt er een dame naar Becky die haar een stuk papier geeft
met dingen die ze op Rottnest Island kan doen. En als ze met de veerboot op
Rottnest Island aankomen, huren ze hun fietsen en gaan naar hun huisje.
De volgende ochtend gaan ze in blokjes snijden wat ze gaan doen. Ze ontmoetten
jonge jongens; Dominique en Richard. En nadat ze naar de bakker gingen om brood te
halen, gingen ze naar een plek met heel veel stenen. Tot hun verbazing zagen ze een
lijk op de rotsen.
Becky klimt naar de man, Amber en Natalie stappen naar de politie. Becky ziet het
bloed en ze denkt dat hij is vermoord. Toen de politie later arriveerde, ging ze
terug naar haar huisje. Later die dag moesten ze hun woord doen aan de politie.
The next day Amber invites the two boys they met earlier for dinner, but Becky and
Natalie didn’t like that idea. But after that they still wanted to go to the
supermarket. In the supermarket Becky heard a woman say that it would defiantly be
murder and that the man was dead before he was lying there. The next morning Amber
and Natalie went swimming and Becky was going to the place where she saw the dead
body. But when she stands on the rocks, she saw a strange guy behind her looking at
her. The three friends are going to the lighthouse. On the list with lighthouse
keepers she saw the name Tavis. Tavis was the middle name of the guy who was lying
dead on the rocks. A woman said that lighthouse keeper was charged for murder on a
16 year old girl, called Lizzy.
Becky went to the old girls (Shirl, Sally and Ruth), and she gets a lot of
information about the time.
The next day, they went on a hunt for Richard ‘treasure chest’. And they find it,
and there were whole lot of thing inside, but also a necklace with a golden heart.
Becky gets it from Richard and puts it on. But after a talk with Shirl she knows
that Lizzy always was wearing that neckless. But when she was found dead, it was
not on her anymore. Later she asked Richard were he gets it from. And he said he
found it in an old wardrobe from his grandfather.
The next day they are going with Dominique and Richard somewhere whit underground
shafts. Becky discovers that the grandfather from Richard arrived a few days before
them. in the shafts she gets scarred and want to get out. When she opened a door
she saw a man whit a red cap. It is the grandfather from Richard. After this she
charged the man with everything she can think of. The man tried to get away but he
finely gets himself in.
