Ik vond dat deze film wel een grote indruk op mij heeft gemaakt. De film
was gebaseerd over de noodlanding van kapitein Sullenberger op de
Hudson in New York maar ik heb het originele verhaal vergelijkt met wat
er in de film kwam, ondanks het feit dat het gebaseerd op een
gebeurtenis die echt plaats heeft gevonden worden er in de film veel
dingen erbij toegevoegd en er veel in perspectief geplaatst (denk aan die
van de passagiers) terwijl dit in het echte leven zeer moeilijk zal zijn voor
een piloot om zich te verdiepen in de levensverhalen van de tientallen
passagiers aan boord. Ondanks dat het gebaseerd is op feiten zit er ook
veel fictie in dus het zit er een beetje tussenin.

Hij past wel in het huidige schoonheidsideaal, hij heeft weinig rimpels,
een heldere witte glimlach en een uitgerust uiterlijk wat veel terugkomt
in het huidige schoonheidsideaal.
