In this leaflet I shall be talking about the organisation “Emirate Airlines”, in addition I will be
detailing issues which arise in recruitment and shall addressing various reasons and
complications related to internal and external affairs as well as listing the advantages and
disadvantages of them.

The organisation Emirate Airlines is a global airline company which is in the transportation
industry, they are prized with having an outstanding reputation of the quality of their services.




Reasons why vacancies occur within each organisation.

Emirates airlines has a huge workforce, with such a number of employees there is sure to be
problems with staff which may ultimately lead to their leave.

- Sickness long term can lead to an employee having to take time off in order to recover.
However they may be covered by another member of staff until they are deemed fit for work
again.

- Maternity leave is an issue which can arise for female staff resulting in a 6-12 months leave
in which another temporary member staff ca cover.

- Retirement is when a member of staff terminates their contract and leaves the organisation.
This would have to be solved by hiring a new member of staff to take their place.

Advantages and disadvantages of internal and external recruitment to the
organisation.

The main advantage of using internal recruitment is it’s more cost effective as well as time
efficient. However the disadvantage is you can only recruit from within your organisation
limiting choice of candidates.

For external recruitment an advantage is the variety of possible employees the organisation
can receive applying for the job this gives Emirates a better chance of finding a more than
suitable candidate for the vacancy. The main disadvantage is the time it takes for the process
