• Región celular que contiene el material genético de los organismos eucariotas, almacena
información hereditaria y controla el metabolismo celular.

• Quiere decir los procesos de duplicación, alineación y separación de las cromatides que ocurren
cuando se dividen las células eucariotas.

• La envoltura del núcleo (carioteca) se compone de dos membranas y controla el paso de los
materiales entre el núcleo y el citoplasma.
• En intervalos se fusionan en los llamados poros nucleares.
Región intranuclear
• Casi todo el ADN de la célula se localiza en el interior del núcleo.
• Las moléculas de ADN se componen de genes, ellas tienen las instrucciones codificadas
químicamente para la producción de las proteínas.
• La cromatina es la asociación del ADN con proteínas, observada como una red irregular de
gránulos y cadenas, en células que no están en división.
