The quote ‘Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about building yourself’ by
George Bernard Shaw explains that one should be the conscious creator of their
existence instead of spending years searching for something which is already
present. Humans are like clay, just as we mold clay into different shapes in the
same way different incidents and activities in daily life mold human beings
ultimately leading to creating themselves. Life is all about designing your own blue
print. It is charting out a path that you want to walk in and not follow the crowd in
a path that is already laid out by someone who dared to create himself.
Finding yourself is finding something that already exists like finding a person
already inside of you but maybe not the ideal type. The hard work gone into
becoming this person has already taken place. All a person needs to do is search
for it. And after finding oneself the journey ends. While searching for purpose we
often find ourselves which is a very long process. Finding yourself is finding
purpose in life. Even when you feel as though you are ready for self-exploration;
the process can be challenging and emotional. A person has to be committed to the
process to come out the other side in a better place than where they started which
requires a lot of discipline and dedication. Finding yourself takes a very long time
answering questions like who u are? What is your purpose in life?
Creating yourself is working towards goals, creating a life for yourself it is not a
very easy process but here u follow your own rules and make a path for yourself
which u thus trace and become a better version of yourself. When we go off track,
and start forming our own route instead of following in the footsteps of others-
these are the moments that define us. All experiences mold us and help us create
our self. Each experience leaves a void which over time we fill and come out
strong as a person, thus we evolve. In the long run life is truly about creating
yourself. The world today is progressing and the only way to stand out from seven
billion people is by creating ourselves. Creating yourself is by chasing dreams and
being successful.
