In this task I will be evaluating two teams overall effectiveness
which lead them to meeting their objective but will be giving
recommendations for improvements throughout. I’m also going
to be doing this task by evaluating the teams overall
effectiveness in meeting its objectives and making
recommendations for improvements but first I’ll be evaluating
my teams overall performance. Lastly this will all be done with
incorporations of P6 and M2.
Communication in my team was outstanding, because we had a
good team leader who encouraged us all to share our own
opinions. When we voiced our opinions the team understood.
My team members did not shoot down other member’s ideas or
opinions. We had a shaper, plant, team leader and team
workers who were really good at what they were doing. This
allowed us to perform better than the other teams. We had a
good mix of different team roles to maximize our effectiveness.
Also we all did feedback to the team so that we all knew each
other’s performance and how well each member was doing.
Most things in my team went well, so I can’t really outline what
we could have done better. But there were a couple things. One
was that at the start of the task, everyone was distracted and
looking at other things. This was due to everyone not knowing
each over well and not knowing if we could trust each over as a
group. After that disastrous start we then had done some
activities that enabled us to gain knowledge of each over and
our weaknesses and strengths. This didn’t just allow the bond
to get stronger but it also allowed the work to look better.
Overall my team’s performance eventually was very good.
Although I was second in command in my group my team
leader always fed back to me and told me if there was any
trouble within the group. There was mostly positive feedback as
there were never any conflicts between the groups activity with
