Inleiding
In de “module borgen van kwaliteit en veiligheid” wordt er gewerkt aan een verbeterpunt op de
praktijkleerplaats vanuit de afdeling zelf. De CanMeds-rollen die centraal staan bij deze module zijn
dan ook de professional en kwaliteitsbevorderaar, reflectieve EBP-professional en de organisator. Als
professional en kwaliteitsbevorderaar is de verpleegkundige op de hoogte van veranderingen en
streeft ze naar verbetering, hierin let ze op haar beroepshouding en spreekt ze anderen zonodig aan.
Als reflectieve EBP-professional handelt de verpleegkundige vanuit een onderzoekend vermogen en
reflecteert ze op haar eigen handelen in samenwerking met zowel de patiënt als collega’s. Als
organisator toont de verpleegkundige leiderschap, plant en coördineert hierin de zorg rondom de
patiënt en eventueel collega’s. De verpleegkundige neemt de verantwoording en borgt de veiligheid
van de patiënt en collega’s.
