Reacción estereotipada y automática del organismo a la aparición de un estímulo elicitante.
Estimulo elicitante = sensación (aguja)
Al estímulo elicitante le sigue invariablemente la respuesta.
- Estimulo incondicional: si aparece el estímulo SIEMPRE se obtiene respuesta

• La magnitud de la respuesta es proporcional a la intensidad del estímulo → mayor magnitud
mayor, mayor respuesta
• Dicha magnitud varia con la experiencia repetida→ esta repetición puede producir una
sensibilización o una habituación
