The real name of Avicii is Tim bergling
Tim was born on 8 September 1989 in Stockholm
And he died at 20th April 2018
He had a stepbrother Anton, stepsister Linda, and a brother named David
And his parents were: Anki Lidén and Klas Bergling
Tim's stage name is Avicii, comes from the word Avīci which means the lowest level in Buddhist hell.
Prior to his Avicii success, he previously released a number of songs under the names Tim Berg and
Tom Hangs

The most important part of Tim’s live is his breakthrough.
In 2010, the song Bromance was released, under the name Tim Berg
In 2011, he became completely known with the song levels, under the name Avicii
Later he also had other hits such as Wake Me Up, Hey Brother, Addicted to You and Waiting for Love

Tim has also done a number of collaborations with other artists. For example, with Chris Martin, the
lead singer of Coldplay. They released the song "A Sky Full of Stars" in 2014. Later in 2014, he had
collaborated with David Guetta on “Lovers on the Sun.”

As I said, he had his big breakthrough around 2010 and 2011, because of this he was giving more
than 300 performances a year.
In 2012, Tim became ill due to the hectic tour life and the habits that come with it. He was admitted
to a hospital in New York because of an inflammation of the pancreas.
In 2013, his popularity was confirmed by the album True. For this album, Tim moved to Los Angeles.
In 2014 he had several collaborations.
In 2015, Tim was admitted to a clinic in Ibiza, where he spent a few days talking with therapists. In
the clinic he started exercising and living a bit healthier. Because of this he gains many new insights.
