NURSING C350 COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENT. Eugene Shevzov is a 39-year-old Caucasian male. He appears healthy. He is alert and oriented and able to answer all questions appropriately. He comes in for a routine physical exam. He has not seen a regular doctor in quite some time. He works as an automotive technician and has medical insurance. He is married with 2 children. Eugene states that he has no known medical conditions, is not being treated for any medical conditions, he does not take any daily medications and has no allergies. He denies prior surgical history initially, then states he had a blood transfusion 10 yrs. ago with a prior surgery. Mr. Shevzov is a little overweight with a BMI of 28. I would suggest he begin an exercise program to lower his BMI and avoid the risk of becoming hypertensive or developing high cholesterol and to avoid future pain in joints from being overweight. There are no concerns currently for any new conditions with Mr. Shevzov. I would, though, order a complete metabolic profile and complete blood count along with a lipid profile to ensure there are no “hidden” medical conditions. By “hidden” I mean any conditions or diseases that do not have specific symptoms at an early stage (such as high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, or any such condition that may begin with mild or vague symptoms).
