achterste gedeelte van de frontaalkwab) —> signaal direct naar de tr. corticospinalis,
aansturing gezicht, arm en been
• Gyrus volgt de lijn van het lichaam: een homunculus (mini mannetje van lichaam)

• Corona radiata = neuronen wijdverspreid (witte stof) —> uitwaaierende kroon
• Capsula interna (tussen de basale kernen) = neuron vezels gebundeld —> over de
pedunculus cerebri naar de hersenstam. Vezels voor het gezicht kruizen hoog (tr.
corticobulbaris), de rest kruist in de decussatio pyramidis in de medulla oblongata
(tr. corticospinalis) (witte stof)
• Lacunair infarct / strategisch infarct = vaak klein infarct maar in de capsula interna
wat resulteert in uitval van alle banen
