Working in groups, what’s so good about it? That’s the title of my essay. I wanted to
write an essay about working in groups because the students that study
International Business have to work with people that they may not know yet, all
the time and every day. I wanted to find out why working in groups is such an
effective way of learning and working. Furthermore, I did this by doing research on
different internet platforms, and I made a survey that I had a diverse group of
students and working people fill out. I found out what you actually have to do to
create a good work group, the disadvantages of working in a group, the different
roles people have in a group and what types of groups there are.
I also found out that almost every student has a completely different opinion
about working in groups. Some people absolutely love to work in groups and say
that they learn a lot from it, while the others prefer to work alone and get good
grades this way. I made discoveries that I had not expected, and I found it very
interesting to read everyone’s opinion on this topic.
At the end of my essay, I finally came to the conclusion about why working in
groups is, usually, the most effective way of working and learning.
