3.1 Inleiding
Insitutionaliseringsproces
=> Vaste patronen v SH (waardoor structuur ontstaat) en w gekoppeld aan bepaalde culturele
betekenissen.
3.1.1 Sociale institutie:
=> Georganiseerde, collectieve en vaste patronen v SH en bijhorende culturele elementen
• Antwoord gevonden op bepaalde behoefte (als groep of individu)
• Manier v handelen dat antwoord heeft op die behoefte
• Vaste patronen die we toch somsk veranderen door ons SH
• Manier v handelen die zekere tijd meegaan
o Daarom: culturele elementen gaan bij vast patroon horen
o Vb: bepaalde w en n, doelstellingen gaan koppelen aan SH
• Collectief manier v handelen --> nt over individu, maar over een collectief gebeuren
o Kan zowel groot als klein zijn (groepje mensen, ook hele SL gaan)
• Institutie probeert altijd op een behoefte in te spelen
• Vb: sociale institutie --> onderwijs, instituut --> bepaalde school
o Institutie en instituut is dus nt hetzelfde!!

• Economie: behoeft van goederen produceren
• Religie: godsdienst behoefte v zingeving aan ons leven geven
• Sturen handelen --> voorspelbaar
o Vb: economie (landbouweco): stuurt ook ons handelen nl in landbouweco werk je
vaak waar je woont --> landbouwfamilies
• Normatief --> sancties
o Culturele element v instituties
o Je moet op bepaalde manier gaan handelen --> anders sanctie!
▪ Kan verschillende vormen aannemen, vb: mensen roddelen over je, kijken
neer op je
• Soms voor veel mensen andere voor weinig mensen
o Vb: verkeer --> behoefte invullen aan ons te verplaatsen, allemaal in regels
vastgelegd door wetgeving + culturele elementen: rood licht = stoppen, deze
institutie geldt voor iedereen die deel uit maakt van onze SL
