There are 4 types of bone fractures= transverse, oblique, spiral and comminuted-severe fractures
Aetiology- the cause, set of causes, or manner of causation of a disease or condition or the mechanism of injury.
Two types of injury:
- Acute
- Overuse
Acute-
An injury that occurs from taking part in one exercise or sporting session.
It tends to occur because of high sudden force.
Symptoms occur quickly
Overuse-
These occur because of repeated participation in a particular sporting or exercise movement which places
stress on specific area of the body.
Injuries can arise if the body part has not had sufficient time to heel between training sessions.
