Hydrostatische en osmotische druk
Oedeem= een ophoping van vocht in het weefsel (bekendste voorbeelden: vocht
achter de enkels en vocht achter de longen).
De ‘normale’ cyclus: vocht treedt uit de bloedvaten om vervolgens weer terug
geresorbeerd te worden of via het lymfesysteem weggevoerd te worden.
- Als deze balans verstoord is blijft er te veel vocht in de weefsels achter, waardoor
oedeem ontstaat.
De 2 dingen die hiermee te maken hebben zijn de hydrostatische druk (bloeddruk)
(perst vocht uit de bloedbaan en de osmotische druk (haalt vocht weer terug haalt
naar de bloedbaan).
In onze arteriën is de bloeddruk hoger dan in de venen, dat is de hydrostatische druk
en die loopt van hoog naar laag. De osmotische druk is constant, dat komt door de
plasma eiwitten in het bloed (albumine). Eiwitten verlaten het bloed niet, dus de druk
blijft constant.
Filtratie: Als de hydrostatische druk groter is dan de osmotische druk, zal vocht uit de
bloedvaten worden geperst.
Resorptie: De hydrostatische druk daalt dan, waardoor de osmotische druk groter is,
het vocht wordt weer teruggehaald naar het bloedvat.
