- I will instruct students to note that they will be looking at the authentic
text and the 12 vocabulary items I have highlighted previously, I will
handout a worksheet as below and request students to complete it.
-Instruct students to look into the dictionary for meanings, note down in
their own words what they understand by the meanings in the dictionary

and to give an example of their own sentence with the word highlighted
in the correct context and to take note of the pronunciation. Students will
further be instructed to attempt to use or find a similar word that can be
used in place of the current one.
-Students will further be instructed by me the teacher that they need to
remember there is a winner and that will be determined by how long
, they take. I will be keeping a stopwatch which ever team completes in
time will be the winner.

This task should be designed for use in a follow-up lesson. It should require students to find out
more about the topic, or something clearly related to the original topic, of the text.
You must provide a worksheet for the students. This should include clear instructions for students to
follow. In the worksheet you MUST give examples of websites students can use for this activity.
