2 types beroertes:
- Herseninfarct – Ischemic stroke (80%) = Propje in de bloedbaan
- Hersenbloeding – Hemorrhagic stroke (20%) = Lek in bloedvat
Na een CVA moet iemand herstellen. Lichaamsfuncties stijgen. Na 6 maanden kan dit dalen of stijgen
afhankelijk van onder andere de volgende dingen:
- Revalidatie begeleiding stopt
- Gebrek aan motivatie
- Gebrek aan sociale ondersteuning
- Goede sociale ondersteuning
- Toename in zelfvertrouwen
CVA tijdlijn:
CVA tot 24 uur na CVA = Hyper acute fase
24 uur na CVA tot 3 maanden na CVA = Vroege revalidatie (VR)
3 maanden na CVA tot 6 maanden na CVA = Late revalidatie (LR)
Na 6 maanden na CVA = Revalidatie chronisch (RC)
Natuurlijke sequentie van mobiliteit:
- Zitten
- Opstaan en gaan zitten
- Veilig staan
- Lopen
Natuurlijke sequentie ADL:
- Uiterlijke verzorging
- Eten
- Transfers
- Toiletgebruik
- Mobiliteit
- Uit- en aankleden
- Baden / douchen
- Traplopen
Gevolgen van een beroerte hangt af van:
- Plaats van het letsel
- Grootte van het letsel
Zichtbare gevolgen / Onzichtbare gevolgen:
Senso-motorisch = Zichtbaar in motoriek
Neuropsychologisch = Onzichtbaar, in de hersenen
Sociaal-emotioneel = Emotioneel overprikkeld
Hemi-inattentie = Minder aandacht voor de aangedane zijde. Ze zullen de zijde wel erkennen als je ze
er op wijst.
Neglect = Volledig verwaarlozen van de aangedane zijde.
