ondanks de objectieve veiligheid daalt. Dus, ondanks het veiliger maken van de stad, kunnen
inwoners zich alsnog onveilig voelen vanwege hun subjectieve veiligheid vorming.
Wat is veiligheidsmanagement?
Veiligheidsmanagement wordt onderverdeeld in twee belangrijke begrippen:
1. Safety
- Veiligheid, gezondheid en welzijn van personen op je terrein.
2. Security
- Veiligheid van materiele eigendommen
- Veiligheid van informatie eigendommen
- Kortom, beveiliging van materialen

Safety en security kan in de praktijk weer in twee onderdelen verdeeld worden:

- Beveiligingspersoneel
- Bijhouden hoeveel personen er in het pand zijn.
