providing full situation analysis on the context/s within which a specified live/real-life client, for whom you plan to propose a public relations campaign, operates. The situation analysis should identify key issues, specify communication objectives and, at this point, highlight a range of possible PR campaign options – taking into account ethical-legal considerations (e.g. privacy, intellectual property rights, safety, etc). The report should: • target the relevant client – their management team in the case of a corporate client; • use appropriate tools to examine the client’s internal and external ecosystem, or context/s, that could impact on a proposed campaign; • be well-researched, using methods highlighted in the introduction and relevant theory/ies, with appropriate references; • be well-structured – typically include cover page, title, introduction, body, conclusion, reference list and, if any, appendices.
