Dit rapport betreft een casus waaruit een ethische vraag volgt. In een ethische vraag spelen
verschillende en tegenstrijdige belangen een rol, zo ook in deze casus. De casus gaat over de
11-jarige Fatima en haar moeder, zie bijlage 1 voor de volledige casus.
Om tot een handelingsbesluit te komen wordt de Utrechtse methode toegepast. Vervolgens
wordt mijn handelingsbesluit vanuit professionele standaarden voor de sociaal werker
onderbouwd en verantwoord. Ook zullen verschillende ethische afwegingen in kaart
gebracht worden. Tot slot onderzoek ik hoe mijn professionele en persoonlijke normen en
waarden mijn handelingsbesluit beïnvloeden.
