○ Leveduras vivem nas áreas corporais ricas em glândulas sebáceas
QUADRO CLÍNICO
● Manchas ou máculas, múltiplas, confluentes e de cor variável (“versicolor”)
○ Podem ser hipocrômicas, eritematosas ou hipercrômicas acastanhadas
○ A hipocromia ocorre pela barreira física aos raios UV e pela produção de ácido
azelaico pelo metabolismo do fungo, que inibe a tirosinase, que é uma das
enzimas responsáveis pela formação de melanina
● Sinal de Zireri: descamação da lesão ao se esticar a pele
● Sinal da unha ou de Besnier: há descamação fina da lesão ao se raspar a pele com a
unha
