❖ Oorsprong:
➢ aan het distale deel van de condylus lateralis tibiae;
➢ aan de proximale 2/3 van de facies lateralis tibiae;
➢ aan het aangrenzend deel van de membrana interossea;
➢ aan de bedekkende fascia cruris.
❖ Aanhechting:
De eindpees wordt in zijn eigen peesschede gefixeerd door de retinacula musculorum extensorum superius et
inferius.
➢ aan het os cuneiforme mediale, mediaal vlak;
➢ aan het os metatarsale I, proximaal uiteinde.
❖ Functie:
➢ dorsale flexie en inversie van de voet;
➢ onderbeen naar voren trekken bij de inzet van de marche;
➢ verhogen van de mediale lengtebogen van de voet;
➢ posturale balans bij verstoring naar achter.
❖ Bezenuwing:
➢ n. peroneus profundus L4- L5
